OUR STORY

Pioneering a new standard in textured hair care, Curl Definition is the brainchild of Serriah Hart, a Texture Expert, who’s passion is providing Curl Care, education, and product retail to the full spectrum of textured hair, from Kinky/Coily to Loosely Curly and Wavy.

With over 25 years of experience as a Natural Hair Care Specialist, Serriah has meticulously curated Han-Crafted, Salon Quality products to meet the diverse needs of the Curly Hair Community, drawn from Serriah's extensive expertise as a licensed master cosmetologist, master cosmetology instructor, and the visionary behind the acclaimed Curl Definition Natural Hair Training System.

Serriah has honed her craft as a Texture Specialist through training from renowned industry leaders such as DevaCurl, Rëzo Curl, Aveda, and Paul Mitchell. By her expertise, she has bridged the gap in product in product development between common market Texture Hair Products and the needs of the Kinly/Coily Natural Hair community.

She also aims to elevate the standard of textured hair education by offering consumer-level classes, professional-level training as well as personalized and group curl coaching . With this, her goal is to empower individuals and professionals to embrace and celebrate the beauty of naturally textured hair., and live in their natural texture with ease.
